To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated strategic purchasing manager (m/f/d) who will drive our international purchasing forward and actively contribute to the company's success.
Your tasks:
- Selection, qualification and continuous evaluation of suppliers of natural raw materials
- Obtaining and negotiating prices, delivery times, payment terms and Incoterms
- Close collaboration with sales to achieve target prices and contribution margins
- Development and implementation of price optimization and purchasing strategies
- Maintenance and further development of the supplier and product data in our ERP system
- Building long-term, high-performing supplier partnerships – global and reliable
- Structured organization in day-to-day operations – always with a focus on quality, costs and deadlines
Your profile:
- Successfully completed commercial training or economics studies
- Professional experience in purchasing – ideally in the food, dietary supplement, raw materials, animal feed, beverage or cosmetics sectors
- Experience in international purchasing
- Strong negotiation skills and clear, goal-oriented communication.
- Ability to understand complex product specifications and quality requirements
- Structured, independent work style and a high level of quality awareness
- Excellent German and English skills for international supplier communication
- Confident handling of ERP systems and MS Office
